I always love visiting our factory here. We started with four Tailors in town and now have 20 Tailors and over 40 people with various responsibilities. I never would have dreamed this. The workers are so happy. Before we came, they would all get on a bus and travel 2 hours to Madras to work in the morning and again at night. Now at Cape Madras most just have a walking commute to work. Bala is my right hand in India and oversees the entire operation.
Today I am reviewing new styles for next season with Bala and the master cutter.
