Computer is back and I’m up and running. Cape Madras is back in business. First stop is with a journalist from the Times of India. (If you're interested in seeing the Times of India article, just choose Sunday, May 25th at the top of the page where you see the date on the newspaper). She wants to know what the attraction is in the states for Madras fabric and who are these preppy people any way. I gave her my story and suggested she take a look at some preppy sites like Monogram Momma, and even great American stores like J. Crew and Brooks Brothers. Still a bit jet lagged but the concierge Ramesh at the Taj hotel is helping me out with all my computer and business needs. Great place to stay when you get to Madras, India.
